Julian also offers a particular specialism in acquiring and disposing of rural land holdings often comprising former coal authority and gravel extraction sites with attendant clawback/overage provisions, mining options and quarry and farm business tenancies. His experience includes extensive work with unregistered land.

In today’s changing rural economy, with its emphasis on diversification, the cross-over skills to advise on both commercial as well as agricultural and mineral aspects provides a breadth of experience which is particularly relevant and helpful in dealing with landed estates and other major rural landholdings and proves to be a major asset in giving best advice.

Julian’s experience includes acquisitions of development sites, site assemblies, options to purchase  and conditional contracts and rectifying defective titles. and including dealing with adverse possession, granting and reserving rights and easements and imposing positive and restrictive covenants, as well as the requirements of lenders where security for bank lending where needed.
