Michelle’s  specialisms include

  • Managing trade mark portfolios and designs databases
  • Renewal of trade marks and designs
  • Producing costings to assist clients with budgeting
  • Preparing annual renewal schedules for portfolio marks
    • Prepare any legally required documentation needed to support the registration of trade marks and designs
    • Advising on and filing change of name, address and owner requests.
    • Carrying out trade mark searches and providing initial advice on new applications
    • Reviewing trade mark watch notifications and advising client of new third party applications which are of concern
      • Reviewing communications received from the UK Intellectual Property office relating to trade mark applications that may conflict with our client’s 
      • Advising and assisting the solicitors with the opposition process when the client wishes to challenge third party applications
      • Keeping track of deadline dates for revocation and opposition actions
      • Progress/remind  any actions required of colleagues to meet the require
