Hat-trick of nominations for Lupton Fawcett in Yorkshire Legal Awards

Our Debt Recovery and Regulatory and Compliance teams have both been shortlisted in their categories – and our managing partner James Richardson is in the running for the Managing Partner of the Year award, after we secretly nominated him.

Our experienced Debt Recovery team offers pre-legal recoveries, trace and investigation services and legal recoveries – including enforcement – for clients across Yorkshire and further afield, many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years.

The team scooped the top prize in the Debt Recovery category of last year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards – and we’re hoping to make it two in a row at this year’s event on 6 October!

We’re also crossing our fingers that our Regulatory and Compliance team will take home a prize on the night. The team has expertise across the whole range of regulatory crime – particularly in criminal regulatory and corporate defence work, including complex fraud and bribery and health and safety and environmental regulation.

It advises companies and individuals on every aspect of regulatory compliance, from devising policies and procedures and training staff to minimise the risk of regulatory breaches, to crisis management in the aftermath of an investigation or incident.

The Yorkshire Legal Awards are the Oscars for the region’s legal sector and it’s an honour to be named as finalists in three categories.
